Rebecca is a native of Bridgeport, CT. She was born into a set of circumstances which God has used to create and incredible woman of God, with an incredible testimony. “Becky” is a graduate of Bullard-Haven Technical High School in Bridgeport. She also lived in Vermont for many years. Minister Rebecca received Christ in February of 1986 and has been experiencing very real encounters with the Holy Spirit since that time.
In 1991, Rebecca met a man who was living in his car. The Lord spoke to her clearly and let her know that would be her husband, Pastor Daryn Ortiz. Rebecca has one step-daughter and God has also granted her with two of her own children.
In the recent past, Rebecca has served with women’s ministry, children’s ministry and collaborating with her husband as they build this part of the Body of Christ in Willimantic. She is a prayer warrior and believes in the power of prayer. Her innovative ideas have gifted Kingdom Life Ministries. Because of this, Rebecca was officially installed as a Minister of Kingdom Life Christian Outreach Church on October 20, 2013.
Pastor Daryn Ortiz was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico. While growing up in a home which utilized religious principles such as Santeria, he has used those experiences to seek the one true God. At the age of 19, Pastor Daryn had his first encounter with Christ. Struggling with failures and homelessness, he found himself wondering if God was real. He met his soul mate (and now, wife), Rebecca, who nurtured him into a full relationship with Christ.
Pastor Daryn has 17 years in Christian ministry, most of which have been serving as a “street preacher”. He has worked with the Assemblies of God as a Youth Minister, and as a Senior Pastor in the Baptist Church for 5 years. At the age of 37, he returned to school and received a Bachelor’s Degree in in Theology and Pastoral Ministry. Shortly thereafter, God guided Pastor Daryn to a vision of creating a multi-cultural, all-loving house of prayer which focuses more on relationship with the Lord rather than religion. He believes that this will be the only way to transform lives.
Kingdom Life Christian Outreach Church was built through a partnership with Kingdom Life Christian Church in Milford, CT. For the past 6 years, Pastor Daryn, his wife Rebecca and their family have been working together to prepare “Leaders of Love” for the local community. Pastor Daryn has a heart for children and youth. He has 3 children of his own – Leana, DJ and Charliz – along with four grandchildren.

Ayanna has been serving at Kingdom Life Christian Outreach Church since its beginning in 2007, but has served under the covering of Rev. Daryn Ortiz since 2004. She served as the Dance Ministry Choreographer, assists with teaching grades 4-6 with the Kingdom Kids Ministry, served as the Helps Ministry Coordinator, currently works with the Women’s Ministry S.O.S (Sister's of Strength), and ministers through song on the Praise and Worship team. She recently became an ordained minister at Kingdom Life Christian Outreach Church April, 2014 as the Minister of Administration.
Ayanna received her initial calling to serve as a servant-leader back in 2002 when she received her Certificate of Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Harrie Williams at Mt. Zion Christian Life Center Church, Manchester; however, she has been serving the Lord in various capacities since 1992. Her background and experience as an Addiction Counselor, grieving a loss at the age of 33, working with individuals with disabilities and having a passion to serve, inspires her to be used by the Lord however He sees fit. The scripture that is near and dear to her heart comes from Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continuously be in my mouth”, as she knows the Lord is the strength of her life. Ayanna and her new blessed husband, Michael Drake of four years, serve the Lord together in spirit and in truth.
